Cynthia P. Tarver, M.D., graduated from Austin College, Sherman, TX, where she was awarded the Robinson Medal for being one of the top two graduates in 1985.  She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.  Staying in San Antonio, she completed a general surgery internship followed by  otolaryngology - head and neck surgery residency training in 1994. She was in private practice in Seguin, TX for eleven years before moving to Houston in 2005.  Dr. Tarver is a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Tarver has a strong background in the full spectrum of general otolaryngology - head & neck surgery, including the medical and surgical treatment of all ear, nose, and throat disorders.  In addition, she has special interests in endoscopic sinus surgery, allergy, and pediatric otolaryngology.  Her other interests include music, soccer, and a variety of other activities with her two children and husband.
