3. Delabeling of Penicillin Allergy During Pre-Operative Visits
Prospective study initiating an algorithm for delabeling of penicillin allergy in the
pre-operative clinic. Initial evaluation completed by Internist, and if necessary,
Allergy is consulted for testing. Endpoints include rate of allergic reactions perioperatively,
and rate of surgical site infections compared to patients using
alternative antibiotics.
